Having been promoted as a project for many years, it was LOGIC's feasibility study that identified the viability of the concept and prepared a model for its implementation.  LOGIC proposed a new cultural center that could serve as the anchor tenant to spur redevelopment of Oldtown Salinas.  The study resulted in the City's award of key property in addition to $3.5 million in funding to kick off the capital building campaign. The National Steinbeck Center was the only museum selected by the Los Angeles Times writers as one of the top ten cultural attractions in California.
